Third quarter 2012 financial results (Part 1)

Companies had started reporting their financial results for the quarter covering 1 July to 30 September 2012 (Third Quarter 2012).

The following table provides information on net profit attributable to shareholders and year-on-year change between current period in 2012 against corresponding period of 2011. It includes information on dividend declared by the board of directors.

Keppel Land $74.4 m + 28.5%  
Singapore Exchange $74m – 15.0% 4.0 cents
M1 $33.1 m – 19.5%  
K-Green Trust $3.5 m – 6.6%  

Note: All companies reported third quarter results except for Singapore Exchange (first quarter results).

Of all companies listed above, all except one registered negative growth in net profit over the corresponding period of previous year.

Keppel Land’s performance was positive, but less well than second quarter results. (Second quarter results: $94.7 m; +87.5%)

It appeared that companies faced a challenging time in this quarter when compared with last year.
