Beside Marina Bay Sands is the latest Singapore attractions – Gardens by the Bay. It is worth a visit, at least once. The Cloud Forest (right in picture) and the Flower Dome (left) provide visitors with cool respite from tropical heat of Singapore. The waterfall as you enter the Cloud Forest was refreshing.
Flowers, plants, trees aplenty from Mediterranean and subtropical regions are on display.
Many sculptures to view also. Simba, the lion lurking below:
There is outdoor attraction too, The Supertrees. There is a OCBC Skyway right above among the Supertrees. Pay S$ 5 to reach the skyway.
If you are a passion cardholder, you can get a S$2 off the entrance fee to both the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome of S$20.
Set expectation right, these are man-made structures and gardens. Most plants and trees are not native to Singapore. They are brought here for your viewing pleasure. It will take time for Gardens by the Bay to mature.
