“Farmer Giles of Ham” by J.R.R. Tolkien – A Book Review

Written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings was a simple story about a Giant, a Dragon and a farmer. Suitably written for children and delightful for adults like me. Farmer Giles became the unlikely hero in battling the Giant and Dragon Chrysophylax in the story. Chrysophylax talked and had human-dragon conversation with the humans. It is a tale that thrills and unexpected end to the dragon.
