“The Rainmaker” by John Grisham – A Book Review

This book was published in 1995 and I only read it recently. It gripped me from the start to the end. A thoroughly satisfying book about a rookie lawyer, Rudy Baylor, who took on a big law firm and its client which is an insurance firm. The story flows easily and it is easy to understand. I particularly liked the courtroom trial and it was not draggy. As to realism, it may be a bit lacking but I enjoyed the story line nonetheless. If you want a feel good book, read “The Rainmaker”.
