“Small Change, Turning cents into dollars” by Goh Eng Yeow, a Book Review

This is Goh Eng Yeow’s second book after “Small Change, Investment made simple”. Book 2 with the title “Small Change, Turning cents into dollars” is a better book. It is more substantive than the first with five categories of selected articles written for the Straits Times, namely Beliefs, Advice, Strategy, Definitions and Planning. Most articles are from 2012 to mid-2014 and therefore are quite current.

The author’s write-up on investment advices and investment strategies are good enough for me to enhance my investment portfolio. They were clearly written with good examples to illustrate the points he was driving at.

For those who are new to some investment products, e.g. Reits, CFDs, ETFs, preference shares, Goh Eng Yeow tried to explain simply to give readers a flavour of these products. He highlighted the risks of these products too. There are financial books available that cover these products in a substantial way and readers can get a better grasp of these products.
