Stocks Battered since start of 2015

Some stocks lost quite a lot since the start of 2015. The list below is not exhaustive and these stocks are those that I am tracking.

Despite share prices had declined, one can take comfort that some stocks were giving out good dividends based on past dividend history.

The following provides some valuation ratios extracted from StockFacts of SGX. Dividend Yield and Price Earning Ratio (PE) are based on share prices as at 25 September 2015. The table was sorted by Dividend Yield order from the highest to the lowest.

The same table is then sorted by PE Ratio from lowest to the highest. Some stocks with low PE Ratios appeared unappreciated by investors. Another way of looking at it: These investors were not confident with the earnings potential of some of these companies and therefore were not willing to pay high prices for them.
