“His Last Bow” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle – A Book Review

“His Last Bow, Some Reminiscences of Sherlock Holmes” was first published in 1917 by author, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The author used Sherlock Holmes’ sidekick Dr John H. Watson to relate 8 short stories in one volume. Dr Watson kept detailed accounts of all these adventures of Sherlock Holmes solving crimes and mysteries. The last story in the book was “His Last Bow” and was the epilogue of Sherlock Holmes.. It was a fitting end to Sherlock Holmes’ brilliant career as a private investigator.

Each story was a joy to read. It challenged my intellect or lack of it when come to solving mysteries. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had a very imaginative mind and the end can be most unexpected. That is what I like about and I am sure you would too.file_000
