Today, the Straits Times Index (STI) reached 3,592.08 points.
The STI had climbed 24.7% since the end of 2016. This was a phenomenal run. As a consequence, my Singapore equity portfolio reduced its loss from -20.0% to -13.9% in a matter of three weeks in 2018.
The STI had not had a good run since October 2007 (before the Global Financial Crisis) when the STI was 3,805 points. Will 3,800 points be reached?
