There are two places to visit.
Pagoda Odyssey 1915: From Shanghai to San Francisco.
The pagoda models are now in the Asian Civilisation Museum. The models were made between 1912 and 1914 by around 300 young artists from Tushanwan Orphanage Workshop in Shanghai. Carved from teakwood and miniaturised to a scale of 1:50, they represented China’s iconic pagodas. See them and also visit the permanent exhibits in ACM. Pagoda Odyssey 1915 exhibition ends 1 June 2025.
Woking Road and Wessex Estate
Walked the neighbourhood of Woking Road and Wessex Estate yesterday morning. Very peaceful place with the black and white houses. Very British feel to the place.
Wessex Estate is beside the Rail Corridor. We started at Buona Vista MRT Station walked to the Rail Corridor. For a short distance along the Rail Corridor, we came to the exit to Woking Road. Got out and approach the Woking Road for our exploration of this tranquil estate.
