I like the creative illustrations by Jacqueline Goh that sort of enhance the funny sides of the quotes.
Politics is a serious business. The quotes as they stand when isolated from the context can become ridiculous. One wonders whether the politicians had thought through them before speaking. I am sure these were spoken in all seriousness at the time.
Most of the quotes I have known them. This book just brings them out to the fore to remind me that politicians are human and are prone to gaffes.
